What to Expect During Our Visit
To make things as stress-free as possible, here is a quick look at how I work
1. Chat
We’ll talk about your journey so far—the highs, the lows, and your specific goals.
2. The Assessment
I will gently assess your baby’s mouth and how they use their tongue. I will also watch a feed to see how you and your baby work together
3. The Decision:
If I find a tongue-tie, we will discuss the options. There is never any pressure to proceed with a release; my role is to give you the information to make the best choice for your family.
4. The Procedure
If we proceed, the snip itself takes only a few seconds. Baby is then immediately returned to you for a “comfort feed” either at the breast or bottle
5. The Plan
We’ll wrap up by creating a simple, manageable plan to help you move forward with confidence
